To catch you all up. Bobby drove down yesterday and he and Kerry left at ten this morning to head north. Their plan is to stay in a weekly (or nightly) place until some of the rental prospects Bobby has been checking on pan out.
Kerry intends to get a tooth (she has an implant but needs the tooth) and a job (maybe temp at first) and live in the Bay Area happily ever after.
Bob and I are feeling sad because we are not sure we were of any real help to her. She's a little fatter. She had some good times here I think, but she is not, in our opinion, facing up to the realities of her prospects for the future. Maybe her dreams will all come true.
She got her California ID card in the mail yesterday so she is able to fly, even to Guam as long as she doesn't go though Japan as she doesn't have a passport, but she didn't want to go to Guam. Bobby called a GP doc from here and plans to get her to see him by Friday. She needs to have her Coumadin levels checked soon but they have been steady so that shouldn't be a problem. She's been told that she needs a liver biopsy in 6 months (after she gets off the coumadin at least for long enough to do the biopsy) because of bad liver numbers.
In general her physical health is ok for the state she is in.
She seemed a little less depressed to me while she was here, but she spend a lot of time alone watching tv. She could use encouragement from her family. She might manage to get by with a little help form her friends.
