Kerry just called. She and Bobby got off 5 by talking too much and not reading signs and they didn't notice until they got to Bakersfield on 99, so it took them an extra hour or so but they spent the night in a motel in El Cerrito and are planning to visit Danny today and look at a rental in Fairfield. She wants to see her grandkids soon and she sounded happy and hopeful. She has expressed lots of gratitude to Bob and me for having her here. We have a much cleaner house than before she arrived and if she can manage to find a way to get settled we will be very gratified.
She promised to stay in touch and I will post whenever I hear from her. All Murphys should call and write her and wish her well.
